Klaviyo Integration

The Modi x Klaviyo integration enables you to send review requests using Klaviyo templates. Reviews collected through these emails will be automatically verified.

Modi sends an event to Klaviyo for every new fulfilled order. This event triggers automated actions, such as review requests via emails and SMS, depending on the configuration of your workflow.

Step 1: Create Klaviyo API key

• From your Klaviyo admin, go to Settings > API Keys.

• Click Create Private API Key and name your key "modiReviews".

• Select Grant applications full access for every API scope.

• Click Create.

Step 2: Allow review request events to be sent to Klaviyo

• From the Modi admin panel, go to General Settings > Integrations:

• Select Klaviyo.

• Paste in the API key you created in Step 1 and click Check.

• Enable Send review requests directly via Klaviyo and click Save.

Enabling this stops other request settings in Modi (such as timing).

Requests for orders fulfilled before will still be sent from Modi.

Step 3: Configure Event Trigger in Klaviyo

• Navigate to the Flows section in Klaviyo's dashboard.

• Click Create Flow and click on Create from Scratch.

• In the trigger section, select API

• Select the event named 'Modified Review Notifier' and click Save

• Drag and drop the 'Email' action into the flow.

• Enter the email name and subject line

• Click on select template, go to Saved Templates, and select the one that was just created by Modi, click Use this template, and then click Done

• For testing purposes unselect Skip recently emailed profiles and click Save

• Select Live to activate the workflow

• Design your review request message and set any desired conditions or filters.
